As it happens-Sunday Chatter

Why yes, I am wearing a medallion at the moment. It is from the Heart Walk/Run. Throngs of people next to a river that was suspiciously too close. (The Ohio is 6 ft above flood stage.)

I have to admit it was not quite as easy as I would have thought it would have been. There is a difference between being active on a daily basis and actually working the muscle groups on a regular basis. And I obviously (huff huff gasp) need to work on those groups more than a little.

Writing, I am going to suggest, is much the same way. We do better if we work on our mental, emotional and linguistic muscle groups.

Dictionary and Thesaurus as Writer’s Universal Machines? Do you work on your adjectivial abs? Do you do pronoun push ups or syntax situps? Curious minds want to know.
