Calling All Writers To The October Competition: DARKNESS

No light, but rather darkness visible.
-John Milton

Your mission in this first of a four-week long competition is to write a maximum of 2500 words for the theme DARKNESS.

Shall you tell of a bleak landscape, a room full of shadows, or a lightless soul?  What ideas spark when pondering the black? Write what you must!

All entries are due by Sunday, October 11th, 11:45 PM (EDT). The poll for submitting links to your entries will appear before midnight Saturday 10/10. BE READY!

  1. Should we post the writing on our own blog and then send you the link when you put up your post on the 10th? If so, should we post the writing on our blog earlier in the day on 10/10 ?
Sorry to bug you. I have not done any of these kinds of contests before but your theme is a good one for me.
    Thank you💕

Here’s to hoping my entry successfully got through… it’s really not much, but hopefully I’ll have the time to come up with something better for Week 2 🙂
