Bell Work: Home is Where the Words Are

Good evening, Flames.

November and (for those of you who play), NaNoWriMo are drawing to a close. As we approach the Thursday holiday, whether you’ll celebrate or not, my thoughts turn to comfort and company. Last night, I arrived home after a two week visit to the place of my birth, and the current home of my parents and the dogs who were too large (and too old) to come with me to Arizona. Naturally, I am thoroughly bitter about having to return home to my bills and my loneliness.

For today’s Bell Work, share with me 100 to 300 words on this sentiment: “Home is where…”

What tone will your assessment take? Warm and thoughtful? Cool and nonchalant? Take me into your mind.

About RicoChey

I'm just an unmarried, childless, thirty-something high school dropout with big ideas and a small attention span. Weave drunkenly behind me as I meander through my own life: a winding path of musings on life, relationships, food, the few politics I can stomach discussing, and probably really dumb stuff like the ratio of Sex and the City episodes wherein Carrie does and does not appear to be wearing extensions.
